The Plotschhof
Our complex – finished in 2005 and located in a calm and sunny area, is the ideal place for recreation as well as for sport enthusiasts.
The marvellous view to the surrounding mountains, will always in your memory as well as the friendly atmosphere in our house, which is the basis for nice vacations.
We can offer you accommodation without service all year round.
According to the season you may order breakfast rolls and fresh cow-milk from our farm.

Location
You live uphill on the north rim, where you have the best view to Wolkenstein.
Here in this country retreat, you will find calmness and relaxation.
Several hiking trails and foot paths will lead you to the rosiest mountain cottages.
In just 5 minutes walk you can reach the “Puez-Odles” natural park.
In winter time you can leave your car on the parking ground as the ski bus stops nearby and takes you in a few minutes to the slopes.
How to find us...
Travelling by car:
Val Gardena can be reached best using the Brenner Motorway A22.
Coming from north, follow the route Innsbruck-Brennero-Chiusa. Coming from south, follow Verona-Trento-Bolzano.
Following the SS242 with brown roadsigns, you should reach Selva di Val Gardena in about half an hour.
Right after the Alpenroyal Hotel leave the main road to the left and follow the signs in the direction of „Daunei“. At the Pension Daniel turn left and after 100 m you will see our Plotschhof. (Our farm is located in the Daunei district.)
Follow Bauneistraße for approx. 1 km until you reach the fork in the road at Daniel and turn left.
After 100m you reach the Plotschhof.
Travelling in winter: to avoid problems on snow-covered roads winter tyres are mandatory whereas snow chains are recommended. (Nov 15th – April 15th)
Travelling by train:
Most international trains stop in Bressanone (coming from the north) or in Bolzano (coming from the south). Local busses run regularly from these train stations to Selva di Val Gardena.
Upon request, we will be happy to pick you up at the bus stop on your arrival in Selva Gardena and take you to the Plotschhof.
Region
General information
Selva Val Gardena is an Italian community with 2621 inhabitants in Val Gardena in South Tyrol. Together with St. Ulrich and St. Christina, it is one of the three municipalities of the valley where Ladin is the official language alongside German and Italian.
Summer
In the summer months, the region is a popular destination for hikers, climbers, climbers, bikers or nature lovers. In the midst of wonderfully fragrant mountain meadows, surrounded by the extraordinarily beautiful mountain landscape, a deceleration and the recovery from everyday life quickly.
Winter
In the winter months, the region is a popular destination for ski hikers, skiers or cross-country skiers. Here the region offers everything that makes skiers hearts beat faster. There is a wide choice of slopes for the good skier to the simple family run.
